Autocare Technician Level 2 Apprentice

An Auto-care Technician requires a unique combination of technical, retail and customer service skills. You will use a range of tools, measuring and diagnostic equipment to identify & repair simple system faults. You will demonstrate expertise not only in the technical elements of your role and have a good grasp of the practical and theoretical aspects of the vehicle systems you service, but also have excellent telephone, customer service and strong problem solving and self-organisation skills.

You will assist with MOTs, mechanics on vehicles and cleaning cars and you will attend Kingston College one day a week to study and gain professional knowledge and skills.

Training to be provided

All training will be provided by a qualified motor technician.

Things to consider

The apprenticeship includes time away from the garage to attend Kingston College, you must be able to travel to both the workplace and the college.

At the end of the Apprenticeship, you will be a fully qualified technician with an MOT licence.
