This is a fantastic opportunity to lead audits across a diverse client portfolio, mentor junior team members, and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audit and accounts services.Key Duties of the Audit Manager:
- Lead and manage audits for a broad range of clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and charities.
- Prepare and review statutory and consolidated accounts in line with accounting standards.
- Supervise and develop junior and semi-senior team members, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
- Liaise directly with clients, partners, and directors, ensuring smooth delivery and strong relationships.
- Support business development and practice growth initiatives.
- ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
- Proven experience managing audits within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounts preparation, and client management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware, motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
