Job Description

  • Lead and manage audit engagements for a variety of clients within the professional services sector.
  • Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members during audits.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their business needs and address audit-related queries.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on audit findings.
  • Ensure timely completion of audit assignments while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting and auditing regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in conducting audits within the professional services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
