We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Audiology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our ENT Intermediate service, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic audiology services to NHS patients referred by local GP's. Your expertise will ensure efficient and effective audiology procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and technical proficiency.
Main duties of the job- Conduct diagnostic hearing tests for patients with Ear Nose and Throat conditions, including audiograms, tympanograms, and pure tone air/bone conduction tests.
- Ensure prompt referral to ENT specialists when necessary, in accordance with clinical pathways.
- Maintain open communication with referring GP's to enhance clinical awareness and collaboration.
- Adhere to Significant Event Analysis procedures and report untoward events in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with local Audiology/ENT services and secondary care clinicians to improve patient care pathways.
- Deliver a quality service in compliance with professional codes of conduct and regulatory standards.
- Prioritize and manage workload to maintain quality and promote patient safety.
- Participate in quality governance systems, audits, and evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- Support professional development through ongoing learning and training activities.
Communitas Clinics is a provider of NHS community ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) and Dermatology services, operating across London and the South East of England. Patients are referred to our service by their GP, and appropriate referrals are then treated in community settings by specialist clinicians.

Job responsibilitiesJOB PURPOSE
To provide necessarydiagnostic Audiology services to NHS patients referred to the ENT Intermediateservice by local GPs to Communitas Clinics Ltd. To undertake audiology procedures efficientlyand effectively adhering to best practice audiology technique. Providingexpertise to ensure the appropriate examination of patients. Maintaining a highlevel of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying withrelevant Codes of Practice
