You'll balance great customer service with informed decision making, helping to protect our brand, manage risk and generate income through the licensing of images, video and audio. Working with a wide range of internal and external audiences, you'll ensure assets are used responsibly and in line with our charitable purpose, while supporting compelling storytelling that brings places, people and history to life.

This is a part time role, with a working pattern of three days per week.

What it's like to work here

You'll be part of the Audio Visual team which supports marketing, communications and commercial activity across the organisation. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for % of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for the day to day management of a large and growing digital asset library, acting as the primary contact for rights queries, asset access and licensing requests. This will include reviewing and assessing usage requests, applying internal policies alongside GDPR and copyright legislation, and making informed, independent decisions in the best interests of the organisation. You'll negotiate and process commercial licences, contributing to income generation, while ensuring appropriate access for non commercial and academic use. You'll also provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues and external clients, championing the audio visual library as a trusted, go to resource.

In addition, you'll analyse system data and prepare reports on asset usage, customer behaviour and sales trends to inform service improvements and future strategy.
