Job Description

Part time Audio Typist - Dermatology - Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday.

About the Role

As an Audio Typist, you will play a vital role in supporting the department by accurately transcribing medical dictations and providing efficient administrative support. You'll be an integral part of the team, contributing to the smooth running of our busy Dermatology unit.

Key Requirements
  • Qualifications: Two standard grades, including English, are essential. A medical secretarial qualification is desirable.
  • Experience: Previous experience as an audio typist or in a secretarial role, ideally within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with TrakCare is an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong organisational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and speed with typing are essential.
  • Personal Attributes: A reliable and flexible approach to work, along with a commitment to maintaining good attendance, will be essential for success.
