Principal: Ms J Schofield Required: January 2027 Associate Teacher for Performing Arts Fixed Term until December 2028 Level 4, Actual Salary £19,350 - £20,286

The Discovery Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Associate Teacher for Performing Arts to join our strong team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will be placed on the Level5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Route/Apprenticeship Course with our learning provider which you will complete within 2 years. After completion of the course, you will have the opportunity to take the next steps onto a route to gain Qualified Teacher Status.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, therefore postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
