THE ROLEWe have an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Employment Law Associate Solicitor c 6+ PQE to join a well-established team undergoing a programme of strategic growth.
The team handles a mixed employment law workload advising senior executives, investment professionals, and businesses on all aspects of employment law, supporting clients in complex, high-profile employment matters.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to play a key part in the growth of a successful Employment team.
As a key team member, you will be expected to:
- Lead and manage a complex employment law caseload
- Draft, review, and negotiate relevant documentation, including employment contracts and settlement agreements
- Provide commercial, pragmatic and risk-based employment advice to a range of clients on a wide variety of employment law matters, including working with overseas lawyers and counsel
- Advising on employment contracts, grievances, dismissals, subject access requests, business transfers and outsourcing, employment disputes in the High Court and tribunals, TUPE, redundancy situations and hiring and firing
- Advising on the latest developments in employment law and sharing knowledge across the firm
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced employment lawyer c 6 plus PQE gained working in a leading law firm, looking to make a career move to a new and exciting business facing role.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with both team members and clients.
Experience in mentoring or supervising junior colleagues is desirable - mentoring and supervising juniors to provide guidance on case strategy.
