The role of Associate Pro Vice Chancellor - Learning and Teaching is a new role within the organisation, reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education and Student Experience. The successful candidate will undertake key leadership functions which speak directly to the University's new strategy and mission to be student-centred, producing employment-ready graduates and addressing the skills gaps in the surrounding region.
Specifically, the post-holder will have responsibility for the holistic review of their programme offer to ensure quality and relevance, together with the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of processes to ensure outstanding learning and teaching opportunities for all their students. You will work closely with the PVC Education and Student Experience to support realisation of their 'Inclusive Education for All' Education Delivery Plan.
To be successful in this role you will need to evidence a track record of demonstrable impact through leadership of initiatives which enhance curriculum design and delivery with students, staff and partners. You will have a passionate commitment to leading innovation and change across the student offer and be able to evidence relevant high-quality education research outputs that have supported excellence in learning and teaching.
You will also need to be a committed completer-finisher and very much at home in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace. An outstanding influencer with high levels of emotional intelligence, you will possess outstanding communication and organisational skills.
