Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Understand automotive/commercial vehicle companies (OEM and Tier 1-Supplier), end customers as well as the government/regulations
  • Identifies project opportunities within the automotive/commercial vehicle ecosystem
  • Develops business at new automotive/commercial vehicle clients using account development methods
  • Leads project acquisitions by developing, presenting, negotiating and closing of proposals
  • Serves as primary point of contact for client executives
  • Leads work streams during client engagements
  • Act as a long-term companion for decision makers in a VUCAD-World
  • Manages client and Porsche Consulting project team members
  • Reviews and approves project delivery documents prior to presentations
  • Leads the collection, analysis and interpretation of client and industry information
  • Provides ongoing feedback and other development support to Porsche Consulting team members
  • Enhances and trains Porsche Consulting concepts, methods and tools for Automotive/Commercial Vehicles
  • Provides content for press articles and develops event presentations and other marketing materials for the Automotive practice
  • Speaks/Represents Porsche Consulting at relevant conferences
Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree with focus on Business, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management and/or related discipline from renowned institutions of higher education
  • Hands on experience in Strategy and Operations Management, preferably in the automotive/ commercial vehicle sector
  • High level of business acumen and consultative expertise
  • Minimum 7 years of total professional experience in both consultancies and automotive corporations
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business development
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow new client business selling management consulting services
  • Impact orientation with focus on comprehensive implementation
  • Second language fluency in German, Spanish, or French a plus
  • Strong desire to mentor and assist in the professional development of colleagues
