Associate of Fixed Income Strategy, London
An opportunity for someone as an Associate to sit within the strategy team of our clients fixed income banking team located in London.
The successful person will work closely with all members of the global team, the lending team including desk heads, general finance, operations and technology. So this position will suit someone who thrives in building working relations, and likes communicating with colleagues across a broad spectrum of disciplines.
The role requires finding someone with a genuine interest in the strategy and operations of a Fixed Income team, who wants to be part of the strategy and direction piece.
Responsibilities- Assist in driving forward change and strategy
- Create meaningful analysis to aid fixed income lending management strategic decisions
- Assist in presentations for senior management on performance metrics and key initiatives
- Assist development of web-based management reporting tool
- Review capital and returns for transactions
- Coordinate between the business unit and supporting functions
- Work closely with the global team, the lending team including desk heads, general finance, operations and technology
- Holds a degree within a relevant field of finance
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within fixed income finance
- Experience of working within the banking environment
- Good level of Excel skills
- Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills
