This is a fast paced role designed for high potential people at the start of their public affairs careers. Operating as the right hand to the Director of External Affairs, the Assistant will assist on high impact global projects to help the company deliver seamless digital experiences.
The External Affairs team within Legal, Risk and Compliance manages engagement with regulators, governments and other third parties. The team covers strategic response, government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs and licensing. This role supports these activities.
What you'll doResearch: Assist by researching new subjects and drafting tailored summaries, such as analysing the political environment in a new country, monitoring policy development in stablecoins and agentic commerce, or detailing licensing processes.
Briefing notes: Draft all briefing notes for external engagements, including messaging.
Stakeholder mapping and engagement: Prepare stakeholder maps and engagement plans.
Strategic response: Assist on special projects.
Operations: Ensure the team runs smoothly by tracking metrics and preparing dashboards. Scope to design processes from scratch and build with AI; not just admin.
1 2 years working as a parliamentary researcher, agency account executive, or equivalent.
A 2.1 degree from a top university.
A practical, solutions oriented focus and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges.
Impeccable written communication.
An interest in the finance and technology industries.
