Job Description

Position: Associate Director of Estates
Organisation: Major NHS Provider (Midlands)
Location: Cross site working (Midlands)
Salary: £65,821 to £76,033, a appointment at scale minimum, with progression subject to appraisal and performance

Join Our Team: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director of Estates to lead the strategic and operational delivery of estates services. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape the future of our estate portfolio, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership across all estates functions, ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Lead the development and delivery of estates services aligned to organisational strategy and business plans.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, embedding innovation and service excellence.
  • Manage budgets, performance, and governance across estates operations.
  • Act as a visible leader, promoting organisational values and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree educated in estates, property, or facilities management (or equivalent senior level experience).
  • Demonstrated success in leading estates services within healthcare or complex environments.
  • Proven track record of budget management and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional membership (e.g., CIOB, RICS, IWFM, IHEEM) desirable.
