Key Responsibilities- Owns and leads the Clinical Operations Data Consumption Domain roadmap, sequencing and prioritizing data needs in alignment with business and technology.
- Defines and maintains the target business data domain architecture and guiding principles for scalability and reuse.
- Leads prioritization of business data needs based on strategic impact and feasibility.
- Is accountable for and partners with Tech on the technical implementation of solutions enabling data access (e.g., via Development Data Fabric (DDF) platform).
- Owns and maintains the end to end lifecycle of GCO relevant data assets-identifies the right sources, ensures lineage, owns data transformations, monitors data usage.
- Collaborates with Business on the logical design and with Tech on the evolution of data domain architecture (acts as a bridge between Business and Technology).
- Can be a Business Owner of Consumption Domain(s) in DDF.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert, mentor, and coach.
- Can be Line Manager for other members of the team.

Basic Qualifications- Academic Degree in a scientific or business discipline (life sciences, mathematics, statistics, computer or data science).
- Pharma, CRO and/or Academic Research Organization experience, for at least 7-10 years.
- Experience in data stewardship, data governance/management, and/or business analysis.
- Effective communication, engagement and influencing experience at the department and cross departmental level.
- Proven competency of communication and influencing skills with key external experts and stakeholders (such as consultants, technical teams, therapeutic area experts and regulators).
- Technical understanding of data workflows, data acquisition, transformations and data preparations for consumption layers.
- Strong knowledge of clinical, operational data & metadata, including acquisition, storage, and utilization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect business value, governance, and architecture.
- In depth knowledge of data platforms and enterprise data management.
- Familiarity with Data Mesh principles and their application in a business environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective communicator between business and technology functions (acting as bridge between Business and Tech teams).
