Associate Director, Corporate Financing & Risk Management
Apply locations: London Full time Posted yesterday Application deadline: August 7, 2025Job Summary: Corporate Financing and Risk Management provides capital markets funding and financial risk management solutions to Lloyds Bank's corporate clients. The team handles public bond and US private placements, along with derivatives such as interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, and inflation-linked products.
Team Details: Over 30 colleagues within Lloyds Bank's Capital Markets division, closely aligned with Corporate & Institutional Coverage. Focuses include conduct, transparency, relationship management, risk awareness, and disciplined returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate public bond mandates and manage associated risk opportunities
- Maintain day-to-day client coverage
- Provide market insights, funding ideas, and pricing updates to clients
- Analyze client credit profiles and tailor financial products
- Monitor markets and contribute to financing discussions
- Coordinate with traders for pricing and execution
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders
- Represent team in projects and embed risk management practices
Candidate Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of capital markets and risk management products
- Experience in corporate bond origination
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards
- Strong communication, numerical, and storytelling skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented, resilient, team player
