Job Description
Associate Director - Investigations and Disputes 
The Role:
You will manage and lead multiple complex dispute-support investigations simultaneously, taking ownership of projects from scoping through delivery.
- Leading a portfolio of arbitration, litigation and other dispute-related investigations.
- Managing, mentoring and quality assuring the work of junior team members.
- Engaging human sources where required and contributing to the development of the client's global source network.
- Producing client ready written deliverables that require minimal editing or supervision.
- Reviewing and quality controlling the work of peers and junior colleagues.
- Working closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with objectives and to adapt to changes in case strategy.
- Managing project budgets and overseeing the financial performance of engagements.
- Acting as a client facing lead through briefings, written updates and formal reports.
- Scoping, drafting and pricing proposals, and proactively supporting business development by engaging with existing and prospective clients.
- Exceptional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in dispute support investigations.
- Proven experience managing and developing human source relationships.
- Strong understanding of legal strategies, with the ability to design investigative plans that support clients at different stages of a dispute.
- High commercial awareness and the ability to analyse complex commercial issues.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
- Sound professional judgement in both project delivery and client management.
- A proactive, self motivated approach with the ability to deliver high quality work with minimal oversight.
- A strong interest in disputes and up to date knowledge of developments in international arbitration and litigation.
- Developing people management capability is desirable.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
