The role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Account Manager with start-up and/or SaaS experience. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our software development teams and our end users. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complexity and translate their business needs into impactful outcomes through our platform. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary partner for GB and European accounts, ensuring customers gain measurable value from Modo Energy.
  • Deliver onboarding and training for new users while driving engagement of existing teams through regular check-ins, updates, and support.
  • Monitor customer health and usage, leveraging data to demonstrate value and identify opportunities to increase adoption.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Growth teams to channel customer feedback into the roadmap and service improvements.
  • Develop and convert expansion and upsell opportunities by aligning customer needs with Modo Energy's solutions.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' experience in customer success, account management, or another client-facing role. SaaS experience is critical, energy a bonus.
  • Able to engage effectively with a range of customer stakeholders and build long-term relationships that drive adoption, retention, and growth.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple accounts while consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Commercially minded with experience identifying and developing opportunities for account growth and expansion.
  • Curious and adaptable, with a track record of learning quickly and improving customer success and account management practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM and CS tools (HubSpot, Gainsight, etc.) would be an advantage.
  • We are an in-person company that values collaboration and team culture. Everyone works in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility to work from home or the office on Mondays and Fridays.
