Job Description
The Role:This role requires a motivated and ambitious lawyer to work within the Corporate team in our London Office.We are looking for candidates who have meaningful experience in respect of all aspects of public and private mergers and acquisitions work, including share and asset sales, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements as well as general corporate advisory work. Ideally this experience should include significant cross border experience. Candidates should have worked across the deal life-cycle, advising on preliminary agreements (non-disclosure agreements, exclusivity agreements and term sheets), conducted due diligence and disclosure exercises and been involved in drafting and negotiating key deal documents.Greenberg Traurig is one of the largest law firms in the world and as a consequence the successful applicant will be involved in interacting not just with colleagues in our London based Corporate teams but also our global colleagues whose clients require UK support.Responsibilities:Advising on asset and share sale structures and key deal termsConducting and overseeing specialist due diligenceDrafting and negotiating key deal documentsConducting disclosure exercisesAdvising on joint venture arrangementsGeneral corporate adviceSelf-motivated business development and business development with the wider teamManage all client work allocated to them, liaising with clients, managing expectations and providing consistently excellent client serviceExercising high standards of client care in a professional and friendly manner.Ensuring that all the Firm's business and client documentation is kept confidential and secure.Keeping up to date with caselaw, policy and planned reforms.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
