Position:
Assistant Varsity Dance Coach


Location:
Mott High School

Minimum Qualifications:
  • CPR/AED Certification required
  • First Aid Certification preferred
  • CAP Certification Preferred
  • Substantial knowledge of the fundamental and technical aspects of Dance/Poms
  • Ability to effectively assist the varsity coach in building a Dance/Poms program
  • Must abide by the Waterford School District Coaches Handbook and overall District athletic philosophy

Essential Functions:
  • Plan, organize and facilitate practices
  • Assist with oversight and management of performances
  • Assist dancers in fundamental skills
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Work effectively with the entire coaching staff and athletic department
  • Teach, maintain and enforce character and academic expectations within the program

Determined by Teacher Master Agreement and years of experience
