Assistant Two Michelin Star Restaurant

We are currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Assistant Sommelier.

Knowledge and Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a 5 Star Hotel as an Assistant Sommelier
• Advanced certification in wine studies (e.g., Master Sommelier, Certified Sommelier) strongly preferred.

• Be an inspirational leader who is passionate about creating highly energised teams to provide world class service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Duties

• Collaborate closely with the restaurant team to pair wines with menu items and create memorable dining experiences for guests.
• Proficiency in cellar management, inventory control, and financial analysis.
• Uphold impeccable standards of service and hospitality, consistently exceeding guest expectations and fostering a culture of excellence among the staff.
• Build key relationships with suppliers to ensure a creative wine list whilst achieving financial targets.
