Responsibilities- Lead the store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
- Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration.
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for the sales floor and back room.
- Work alongside the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding between VM and store teams.
- Partner with store management to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
- Inspire staff to focus on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure staff accountability in building a repeat customer base by providing unparalleled spirited service.
- Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory levels.
- Communicate to the Store Manager what is driving sales and discuss issues or priorities, developing strategies to maximize business.
- Ensure weekly visual presentation action plans.
- Analyse store level reports and create action plans to improve results.
- Assist with manpower planning, identification, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes.
- Recruit store personnel with a broad range of perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds.
- Build bench strength for key positions, including possible successors.
- Participate in weekly management meetings alongside other staff meetings.
- Clearly communicate to staff store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations; provide guidance to improve performance.
- Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
- Connect to consumers and have a previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
- Have previous people management experience and act with purpose to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
- Be an effective communicator with the ability to cultivate belonging; collaborate to win and celebrate the contributions and achievements of others.
- Give courageous feedback that promotes positive behavioural change.
- Adapt fast and work with pace.
- Be energetic and inspire trust, showing a clear presence on the shop floor.
- Approach all issues with a 'can do' attitude and make informed decisions to find in store solutions.
