Assistant Store Manager

Join our North Face team based in Braintree, Essex. In this role you will support the Store Manager in delivering a memorable retail experience, driving sales and profitability, and leading a retail team.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates.
• Assist in implementing and improving retail processes.
• Maintain core retail operational procedures such as inventory and P&L.
• Report performance metrics and demonstrate understanding of KPIs.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met across the store.
• Provide cover in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Experience opening and closing a store and managing a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficiency with MS Office and POS systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a hands on mentality.
• Ability to take initiative and lead when the Store Manager is absent.
