The Assistant Store Manager is a champion of the business and leads confidently to drive exceptional results. What you'll do
  • Support the Store Manager in managing the day to day operations of the store to ensure the store meets performance objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop clear action plans for the store, striving to achieve financial deliverables.
  • Be a role model for the team in sales generation and leads with exceptional customer focus, monitoring and coaching staff to continually improve selling opportunities and building genuine customer relationships.
  • Deliver consistent, personalized service to build loyal customer relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Implement visual and merchandising strategies to increase sales; maximizing floor capacity and store layout.
  • Utilize tools and resources to enhance the customer experience.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and generate ideas to evolve and grow the business.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve/exceed hourly, daily, weekly business goals through in store and omni selling, using strong business acumen skills.
  • Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity, and a passion for the brand.
  • Support the Store Manager on building a dynamic team by networking, recruiting, and anticipating future needs based on business objectives.
  • Accountable for self and consistently holds others accountable.
  • Operationally strong and resourceful.
  • Responsible for identifying and assessing training needs, creating tailored training plans, and implementing various training methods to enhance employees' skills and performance in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Comply with all point of sale policies and procedures and properly execute operational functions.
  • Monitor shipping, transfers, and special customer requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Who you are
  • 2-4 years of retail sales experience, with management experience preferred.
  • Experienced leader with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profit goals.
  • Passionate about leading your team to success.
  • Trains and develops the team's product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Experienced in implementing merchandising strategies and changing visual sets.
  • Strong communication skills and an optimistic problem solving mindset.
  • Flexible to support non selling activities as needed to meet business goals.
  • Available when needed, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak periods such as the holidayseason.
  • Ability to constantly bend, lift, carry, and move merchandise and fixtures up to 18 kilograms as needed.
  • Acts with authenticity, sincerity, and transparency.
