Assistant Site Manager - Temporary Position

Location: Newquay, Cornwall

Rate: £25-£28 per hour (depending on experience)

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join a building project in Newquay. This is a temporary position offering an immediate start on an active construction site.

Role

Working alongside the Site Manager, you will assist with day to day management of the site, helping to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management of site operations
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate trades
• Monitor and maintain health and safety standards
• Carry out site inspections and maintain site records
• Support programme delivery and quality control
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team
• Help ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• First Aid at Work certificate (preferred)
• Strong communication, organisational and problem solving skills
• Proactive approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team
