We are working with a well-established main contractor delivering high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across the South East. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to support project delivery on schemes in and around Horsham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career with a business known for delivering total project solutions across commercial, retail, and interior refurbishment sectors.

As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You'll play a key role in coordinating trades, maintaining site standards, and supporting the day-to-day running of site operations.

• Assist in managing site operations on fit out and refurbishment projects
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are progressing to programme
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance
• Monitor quality of works and ensure client expectations are met
• Support site reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
• Help drive programme and resolve on-site issues proactively

• Previous experience in a similar role within fit out and/or refurbishment
• Background working for a main contractor preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proactive and hands-on approach to site management
