Job Description

Assistant Site Manager - Cambridge

What you'll do:

  • Support the Site Manager in delivering safe, high-quality, on-time construction projects

  • Lead day-to-day site activity, championing health & safety and quality standards

  • Coordinate sub-contractors and ensure programmes, plans and regulations are followed

  • Maintain a clean, well-presented site that reflects Hill's commitment to excellence

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and external partners

What we're looking for:

  • HNC/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in construction

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant safety qualifications

  • Confident communicator with strong time management and leadership skills

  • Knowledge of traditional, RC frame, and timber frame construction

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and attention to detail
