Assistant Service Manager

Our client, a well-established multi-franchise approved car dealership in Cardiff, is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join their dynamic team due to ongoing business expansion. Duties:

• Assist the Service Manager in overseeing the service department, managing a large service team
• Ensure efficient operation of the service reception to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
• Work on the front desk, booking customers in, understanding their needs, and managing workflow
• Maximise workshop utilisation and labour sales to meet departmental targets
• Contribute to performance monitoring and departmental organisation
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism in every aspect of the role
• Support recovery operations, working with approximately 80 vehicle throughputs daily

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a dealership environment, ideally as a Senior Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager
• Familiarity with high-volume service operations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings from 8:30am to 1:00pm
• Live within or close to Cardiff for ease of access and commuting
