HiStory Hospitality are seeking an exceptional Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the opening team of a stunning new restaurant within a luxury country estate in Buckinghamshire.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a launch team, working in a premium countryside environment where exceptional service, genuine hospitality and memorable guest experiences are at the heart of everything we do.
Assistant Restaurant Manager Requirements- Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor or experienced Head Waiter within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant or premium hospitality environment.
- A passionate and hands-on leader who enjoys coaching, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to deliver warm, refined and intuitive guest service while leading from the floor.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, with a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Confident supporting the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation, ensuring consistently high service standards.
- Experience with staff training, rota planning, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of health and safety, food safety and licensing regulations.
- Calm, organised and professional under pressure, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of labour control, stock management and driving restaurant performance.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
- Warm, humble and professional approach to hospitality with a genuine desire to develop within an ambitious opening team.
