Assistant Procurement Officer

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Procurement Officer to join our Purchasing Division. This is a permanent, full-time position, based in our Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist the Procurement Officer with the following duties:

• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Manage the purchasing process including daily/weekly reports.
• Maintain supplier relationships and performance evaluations.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory/warehouse teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Track procurement records and maintain proper documentations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies.
• Import/Export/Customs/Logistics processing.

Key Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems. Preferably Netsuite but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office ( Especially Excel).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, vendor management and cost analysis
