Assistant Nursery Cook

Location: The Learning Tree Nursery School, 2A Carlisle Road, Romford, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm (35 hours a week)

Salary: up to £23,988 (based on experience and qualification)

Responsibilities

• Catering for children with specific dietary needs
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and comply with all regulatory standards
• Ensure children are kept safe and have rich eating experiences
• Maintain stock levels and ensure rotation
• Follow COSHH and other guidelines
• Deputise for the Cook in absences and full time when required

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification
• Experience in a commercial kitchen as an assistant cook/chef or similar
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
