Job Description
Position Overview 
The Assistant Manager, Investor Services AML supports business units and compliance professionals across the company. The role oversees AML processes for new and existing business, ensures regulatory compliance, maintains the AML database, provides management reporting, and represents the company in client and regulator interactions.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the performance and oversight of the AML process on all new business to achieve company and regulatory objectives and ensure adherence to applicable policies.
- Assist the business in coordinating and implementing regulatory changes.
- Interact directly with senior business management in a decision making capacity in Ireland and other applicable jurisdictions.
- Perform oversight and assistance in relation to follow up on outstanding AML documents, reporting and escalating aged items as required.
- Oversee refresh processes of existing business in accordance with agreed cycles.
- Own and maintain the AML database, ensuring accurate and complete data for all clients, investors, related parties and beneficial owners.
- Ensure regular AML management reporting across all funds is produced for submission to management, clients and fund boards.
- Represent SEI in a professional manner during onsite due diligence visits by clients, fund MLROs and the regulator.
- Perform quality control checks and approval on client correspondence, investor and compliance reporting.
- Own 'Worldtracker' functions, including ongoing screening, issue resolution and documentation of results.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of business, including PEPs and transaction monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to service standards and specified deadlines.
- Implement additional AML technology to improve customer identification programs (e.g., Lexus, Guidestar).
- Assist in the review of new fund documents with respect to AML language.
- Update and maintain AML procedures to meet company and regulatory obligations.
- Assist on projects, including implementation of AML systems and technology (e.g., KURE).
- Assist the Training Manager in creating, maintaining and implementing training on AML procedures, reporting and regulatory updates.
- Staff the team, ensuring appropriate knowledge acquisition, coaching, and development to deliver superior service.
- Motivate, manage performance and develop employees, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manage relationships with clients, MLROs, shareholders, regulators, auditors and other external parties.
- Cultivate/maintain leadership relationships across functions to leverage networks and achieve goals.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's Safety Statement for health, safety and well being of employees.
- Plan succession, identify high potential personnel and oversee development.
- Champion HR policies and ensure their application and maintenance.
- 3+ years' experience supervising or managing an AML team of four or more employees.
- 5+ years' experience in financial services, preferably with alternatives or hedge fund exposure.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulation within the Financial Services Industry in Europe.
- Project management experience.
- Deep understanding of Irish Anti Money Laundering requirements.
- Strong risk awareness, particularly of EU legislation driving AML regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- General systems integration and life cycle experience.
- Experience with NTAS Koger and Investier applications.
- Third level qualification (desirable).
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
