£39,513 - £43,693 per year. This is an exciting new development in Child and Family Services to take forward the development of our in-house residential services offer. We are looking to recruit to the position of an Assistant Manager for Children's Care Homes. The post will be full time, permanent.
The role, initially, will assist the Residential Management Team with developing, supporting, monitoring, and reviewing the quality of care provided in our bespoke placements.
They will support in providing supervision to other team and agency staff members. They will contribute to agreed performance management processes and associated administration tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
The Assistant Manager will manage and support staff and agencies to update risk assessments and Personal Plans and help ensure all records and administrative tasks are being completed and shared appropriately for the efficient running of the service.
They will promote the Council's ethos of caring for children and young people with a range of needs in a manner which is child-centred and therapeutically informed.
They will contribute to the development and maintenance of working practice guides and policies which align with the role and provisions
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience, passion, and a commitment to working with children, young people, and their families in a residential setting
