Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking an Assistant In Room Dining Manager to join the pre opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sq ft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world's most celebrated Michelin starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world class spa, state of the art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

ResponsibilitiesAs Assistant In Room Dining Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing Room Service operations, ensuring an intuitive, refined, and memorable in room dining experience for our Guests and Members. You will support the leadership of a high performance team, drive commercial results, and uphold the highest standards of service excellence, quality, and financial stewardship.
- Provide inspiring and effective leadership to the Room Service team, ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded while supporting individual performance and professional growth
- Ensure full compliance with luxury brand standards, Forbes service criteria, and internal quality benchmarks
- Monitor and analyse guest satisfaction, proactively implementing enhancements to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain current awareness of culinary and service trends, proposing innovative concepts to elevate the range, presentation, and quality of Food and Beverage offerings
- Optimise revenue generation while maintaining strict cost control, identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability
- Support the preparation and management of achievable budgets, forecasts, and short and long term departmental objectives
- Partner closely with the Training and Development team to ensure structured, ongoing learning through effective training calendars at all levels
- Uphold a robust internal control environment, ensuring full compliance with hotel and company policies, procedures, and governance standards
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory or management role within a luxury or upper upscale hospitality environment
- Strong people management and leadership capabilities
- Well developed negotiation and influencing skills
- A consistently positive, professional, and solution oriented attitude
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain composed and decisive in a fast paced, high service environment
- Impeccable grooming and presentation standards aligned with a luxury brand image
- Experience within a five star or luxury hospitality setting
- Demonstrated experience with payroll management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of industry trends and market dynamics
