The Addison is one of the flagship premium hospitality destinations within the £1bn Olympia London regeneration project, a landmark development transforming one of London's most iconic event and entertainment districts. Designed to deliver a high end guest experience, the venue combines contemporary luxury with exceptional functionality, creating a distinctive setting for corporate events, private functions, and hospitality experiences.

About the role

As Assistant Hospitality Manager, you'll co lead day to day food & beverage operations, ensuring every organiser, delegate, and guest enjoys a seamless, premium experience. You'll partner closely with our Head of Hospitality and the Operational teams to deliver operational excellence, grow revenue through smart innovation, and nurture a confident, capable team.

This is a hands on management role with genuine scope to shape our service culture, trial new concepts, and step up regularly; a strong platform for progression into senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Hospitality in delivering exceptional F&B operations, ensuring KPI, budget, and service targets are achieved.
  • Lead the seamless execution of conferences, hospitality events, and premium experiences, maintaining the highest operational standards.
  • Plan and deploy resources effectively to optimise service quality, efficiency, and event delivery.
  • Oversee accurate event billing, reconciliation, and administrative processes.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high performing team, supporting recruitment, training, engagement, and performance.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and F&B teams to enhance the guest experience, drive revenue opportunities, and evolve the hospitality offer.
  • Monitor operational performance and use data and feedback to identify improvements and drive continuous enhancement.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful end to end event delivery.
  • Lead pre event briefings and post event reviews, embedding learnings and best practices across the operation.
  • Champion health & safety, food safety, allergen management, and licensing compliance, ensuring all legal and company standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and continuously review and improve SOPs to support operational excellence.
About You
  • Previous experience working in a similar fast paced environment, ideally within the entertainment, leisure, hospitality, or events industry.
  • A proactive and self motivated individual, capable of working independently and delivering results within agreed deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and sound judgement to make effective decisions.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional when working under pressure.
  • A positive and collaborative approach, demonstrating an exceptional team ethic and commitment to shared success.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn, with a genuine desire to develop and progress their career.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of current health and safety legislation, regulations, and best practice.
  • Proven experience in managing, coaching, and developing high performing teams, with a strong track record of personally delivering training and leading effective learning and development initiatives.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work outside normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and late nights when required.
  • Holds a valid Personal Licence.
