Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion, Safeguarding & Personal Development)

Full time, permanent position

Pay Scale L13-L17 - £69,596.00 - £76,772.00

Start Date: 24 August 2026

Key Responsibilities

Strategic oversight of SEND and Safeguarding across the school.
Line manage the school's SENDCO (designated teacher for LAC and post LAC students) and Student Support Manager.
Collaborate with the Head of Personal Development & Social Sciences to ensure high quality personal development provision.
Contribute to the senior leadership team, working with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and other Assistant Headteachers to deliver the school's vision.

Requirements and Conditions

Full enhanced DBS check required.
Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
Ability to meet the person specification for the role.
Demonstrated experience and leadership in inclusion, safeguarding or equivalent.
