About the SchoolBiddulph High School is a popular Academy with just under 800 students on roll, situated in a pleasant residential area on the edge of Knypersley. The school is an Ofsted graded GOOD.
About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to lead on Inclusion and Safeguarding, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that every student is known, supported and able to succeed. This role sits at the heart of our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and ambitious environment, where barriers to learning are understood and addressed with clarity and consistency.
Working closely with families, external agencies and the wider community, you will drive a culture where safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and inclusion is embedded in everyday practice. You are a principled and resilient leader who brings both compassion and rigour, and who is relentless in securing the right support, challenge and outcomes for all students.
ResponsibilitiesAs Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion and Safeguarding) you will play a key role in driving school improvement, strengthening the quality of education, and shaping the strategic direction of the school. You will lead initiatives to embed safeguarding and inclusion across all aspects of the school's operation.

You will be an excellent communicator, an effective team leader, and able to inspire colleagues and pupils alike.
