Job Title: Assistant General Manager - Leisure Venue
Salary: €2,614 - €3,431 gross per month + 8% holiday allowance + tips + Bonus
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Assistant General Manager to join a dynamic and fast-growing hospitality and leisure concept in Utrecht. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who thrives in a guest-focused environment and is eager to grow in a leadership role.
You will support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth business performance, and contributing to long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in the daily operation and management of the location
- Supervise and coordinate all operational activities to ensure efficiency and high standards
- Recruit, train, and lead team members, creating a strong and collaborative culture
- Guarantee top-tier customer service and guest satisfaction
- Assist in implementing strategies to improve service, streamline processes, and boost profitability
- Handle guest feedback, resolve issues, and maintain a positive environment for both customers and staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial or supervisory role in hospitality, leisure, or a comparable industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving ability, and operational insight
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) is essential
