About the roleAn exciting new opportunity has arisen at PHSO to join our Finance & Procurement Team based in Manchester. We are hoping to attract an Assistant Director of Finance to provide Operational financial leadership to support effective and efficient decision making across the organisation. The Assistant Director will be concerned with the year ahead, although this will be done within the context of the wider PHSO strategy. You will be accountable for a team ensuring the provision of high quality effective, finance, procurement and payroll service across PHSO, supporting the organisation to achieve its strategic aims.
You will be a Qualified member of a CCAB or equivalent recognised accountancy body with a substantial post qualifying experience. To be successful in the role you will have experience of producing high quality interim and annual Resource accounts, and a proven track record of ensuring all legislative, regulatory, policy, process, procedures and guidance requirements of an organisation are adhered to and appropriately evidenced.
