Assistant Clinical Director - Paediatric Dentistry (Band C)

Part Time, 30 hours per week

About the service

We provide routine dental care to children with a wide range of disability and impairment who cannot receive their care in the General Dental Service. We also provide care for children with high levels of dental disease and dental anxiety who are referred by General Dental Practitioners and other health and social care workers. Care is often provided under General Anaesthesia or sedation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician with strong leadership, to work with the senior management team in NHS Lothian Oral Health Service.

Responsibilities
  • You will manage the Paediatric Dental Team in the PDS and provide clinical leadership and support to the wider teams involved in the dental care of children.
Qualifications
  • Applicants should have full GDC registration and experience of working as a Specialist or Senior Dental Officer.
