Mind Partners is a retained head hunting firm with offices in Paris, London and New York. We are partnering with Actemium +FCC, part of VINCI Energies, to find their Assistant Business manager and join their team on their Folkestone site.

ACTEMIUM Boulogne-sur-Mer + FCC, a VINCI Energies company, offers solutions to modernise and secure its industrial customers' infrastructure and production tools. The company has expertise in electrical engineering (electrical studies, HV/LV distribution, video surveillance, access control) and control command (automation/supervision, low voltage and fibre optics, network management, industrial IT). As part of the company's development, a work centre has been set up in FOLKESTONE, England.
They are now looking for a new team member to assist the business manager with managing projects for their primary industrial customer and liaising with the teams in France.
Position Summary: The Assistant Business Manager reports directly to the Business Manager for the projects assigned within the framework of a business deal.
Requirements Responsibilities- You are the point of contact with customers for studies and with the site you are assigned to.
- Liaise with the design office, site manager, and business manager.
- Participate in drawing up quotations.
- Draw up purchase requisitions (equipment).
- Carry out projects in terms of:
- Designing and carrying out studies (study file)
- Project management (physical progress planning, etc.).
- Takes part in tests on the platform and on site.
- Provides technical assistance.
- You are responsible for commercial and financial monitoring of your projects.
- Regularly inform your manager of the progress of the projects for which you are responsible for.
- Manage the team of 2 Electrical Engineers.
- You play an active role in safety (visits and talks in accordance with the QSHE)
- Apply the company's QSHE procedures.
- Inform the QSE correspondent of events relating to its sites (QSHE related problems, non compliance, etc.).
- Take part in taking corrective or preventive action.
- Ensure that Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental rules are applied on its sites.
- Some knowledge of French language would be a plus.
- Proficiency in basic business software (Excel, Word, Access).
- Proficiency in technical design software.
- Proficiency in CAD, technical calculation, office automation and management software.
- Knowledge of electro technical equipment.
- Know how to use measuring equipment.
- Familiar with the company's quality procedures and organisation.
- Know the Group's organisation and culture.

- Master's degree in Electrical engineering / NVQ level 6 or equivalent.
