Assistant Accountant/ Part Qualified Accountant
Reed Recruitment are working with a well-known and highly successful business with offices based on the Lisburn Road. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Part Qualified Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary, full-time hours and will be responsible for completing the following daily duties:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Process journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end procedures
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
Experienced Required:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), AAT qualified, or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Good Microsoft Excel skills and confident using accounting software
