Why are we hiring?
The Atrato Group has been appointed as the Investment Adviser to a private UK real estate fund dedicated to investing in homes for the homeless. The fund has encountered tenant, property, and governance issues, and Atrato has been tasked with stabilizing the portfolio.
The fund owns over 900 properties with approximately 6,000 lettable bed spaces. As the new Investment Adviser, Atrato's priority will be to identify the issues facing the fund and work towards resolving them.
Your role will involve assisting the Senior Asset Manager in stabilizing the portfolio, implementing and managing asset management strategies, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Quarterly tenant KPI monitoring
- Assisting the Senior Asset Manager with all asset management strategies
- Managing the asset management tracking and reporting process
- Securing vacant possession of properties occupied by private tenants
- Collecting and reporting tenant oversight data
- Implementing a property visit program
- Managing the fund's tenancy schedule
- Contributing to the preparation of property rectification business plans
- Assisting with property triaging according to Atrato triage categories
- Collaborating with external property managers and contractors to execute rectification plans
Core skills & experience:
- 5+ years of experience in real estate
- Experience in residential asset management
- Experience reviewing and executing lease documentation
- Ideally, experience working with Housing Associations or Registered Providers
