Fleet Engineer / Asset Engineer (Rail / Mechanical)Rugby (Ocasional travel to Derby & Worksop)£45,500-£51,500 + BenefitsImmediate Start Safety Critical RoleThe Role An urgent opportunity to take ownership of a locomotive fleet, focusing on maintenance, performance, and compliance.
  • Manage planned & reactive maintenance
  • Review and sign off maintenance work
  • Support upgrades, modifications & engineering changes
  • Work closely with engineering, stores & reliability teams
  • Based in Rugby with occasional travel
What We're Looking For
  • Mechanical engineering background (rail, HGV, or similar)
  • Hands-on maintenance experience
  • Understanding of preventative & reactive maintenance
  • Level 3 (NVQ / HNC / HND) minimum
  • Strong organisation & communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
