Role Details

Look at the latest headlines and you will see something Ki insures. Think space shuttles, world tours, wind farms, and even footballers' legs.

Ki's mission is simple. Digitally disrupt and revolutionise a 335-year-old market. Working with Google and UCL, Ki has created a platform that uses algorithms, machine learning and large language models to give insurance brokers quotes in seconds, rather than days.

Ki is proudly the biggest global algorithmic insurance carrier. It is the fastest growing syndicate in the Lloyd's of London market, and the first ever to make $100m in profit in 3 years.

Ki's teams have varied backgrounds and work together in an agile, cross-functional way to build the very best experience for its customers. Ki has big ambitions but needs more excellent minds to challenge the status-quo and help it reach new horizons.

We are seeking an analytical mind, with an eye for detail, procedures and technical acumen, to help us implement and run a new IT risk management framework. This is a multi-faceted role supporting both a Technology Transformation Programme as well as maintaining oversight over current operational technology and applications.

This role will suit someone with experience with enterprise technology systems, who wants to grow their skills by broadening their role; you want to experience the different parts to running an effective technology function, which leads to multiple options for your future career path - we will support, provide guidance and mentor you. Nevertheless, we are open to other experiences as we are creating a new diverse and dynamic team to build innovative ways of assessing and managing technology risk.

Principal Accountabilities
  1. Service Asset & Configuration: Support asset management strategies, collect and catalogue metadata, assist in vulnerability assessments, and ensure accuracy in asset data onboarding.
  2. Risk & Event Analysis: Analyse technology issues and risks, assist in risk assessments and control testing, and support vendor risk evaluations.
  3. Operational Resilience: Help develop governance frameworks and IT Disaster Recovery plans, maintain performance metrics, and improve resilience policies and procedures.
  4. Asset Governance & Compliance: Manage service governance interfaces, maintain accurate asset records, and support audits and certifications.
  5. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare asset management risk reports, maintain documentation for audits, and develop visualisations to improve communication.
  6. Management & Development: Promote compliance awareness, research innovative asset modelling strategies, and support team learning and development.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Experience in Enterprise technology operations, support or administration.
  2. Have configured Enterprise hardware, software and cloud services.
  3. Familiar with asset management inventory systems and tools.
  4. Knowledge of procurement, deployment, maintenance and disposal of IT assets.
  5. Understanding of software licensing models.
  6. Analysed data and created PowerBI, Tableau or equivalent reports for presentation to stakeholders.
