Assembly Operator

Proactive are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operator with soldering experience to join a leading manufacturing business based in Dartford, Kent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and products in line with production instructions and specifications.
• Carry out PCB and component soldering to the required quality standards.
• Use soldering tools.
• Follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production processes.
• Complete production documentation and quality records accurately.
• Identify and report any component, assembly, or quality issues.
• Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

• Previous experience in an electronics assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Soldering experience is essential.
• Experience with PCB assembly, electronic components, wiring, and cable assembly is desirable.
• Previous experience within a lighting company or lighting manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams.
• Good understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
