Aspiring Teacher - Graduate Classroom Assistant

Academics is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools in Bracknell, offering a fantastic opportunity for graduates to step into the world of education as Graduate Classroom Assistants.

This is the perfect launchpad for aspiring teachers who are looking to build essential classroom skills, gain real-world experience, and make a meaningful impact in young learners' lives.

Responsibilities
  • As a Graduate Classroom Assistant, support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Work with children in either Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assist in literacy and numeracy lessons and support creative subjects like art, PE, and music.
What We're Looking For
  • A recent graduate (any discipline welcome).
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children's development.
  • Experience working with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential - mentoring, tutoring, childcare, coaching, etc. all count.
