Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Aseptic Technician, you will:
- Develop an SME-level understanding of GMP manufacturing processes and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Complete training sessions and maintain training documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide operational support, including material stocking, kit preparation, reagent preparation, cleaning activities, and equipment maintenance.
- Review batch records, logbooks, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Serve as a qualified trainer for aseptic processing, ensuring proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Identify and communicate training needs, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work independently and collaboratively to resolve operational challenges without compromising production.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Participate in daily huddles and escalated issues to Area Management as needed.
- Process finished products according to validated batch records and SOPs.
- Monitor and record critical process parameters to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain a safe and ergonomic work environment.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Operate electric and manual hand trucks.
- Perform clerical tasks, including data entry and computer-based assignments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct reconciliations in primary packaging batch records.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- Technical knowledge of aseptic processing in cleanroom environments.
- Ability to mentor and guide new technicians.
- Strong adaptability to rapid changes in production needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High School Diploma required; BS/BA in Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline preferred.
- Understanding and adherence to cGMP regulations and documentation standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to perform in a controlled environment for extended periods.
Salary Range: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour depending on experience.
Work Schedule:
- Days: Monday through Thursday
- Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
