Asbestos Surveyor - Gateshead

Job Overview

We are recruiting an Asbestos Surveyor based in the Gateshead area. Ideal applicants will hold a P402 qualification and have experience surveying across domestic, industrial, and commercial sites. Applications from Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, and surrounding areas are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on commercial and industrial buildings.
• Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports with detailed site information.
• Building and maintaining professional rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Complying with Health & Safety procedures related to asbestos.
• Addressing issues effectively and appropriately.

Qualifications & Experience

• Attained P402 or equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Significant practical experience in asbestos surveying and within the asbestos industry.
• Fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills, including competency with MS Office applications.

• Dedicated and self reliant, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prepared to travel extensively as required by clients.
