Asbestos Operations Manager - Edinburgh

A leading and dynamic asbestos consultancy that operates right across the country and at the same time offers professional services to high profile clients is presently seeking an astute and commercially focused Asbestos Operations Manager in Central Scotland. Applications from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Falkirk are welcomed.

Qualifications and Experience

• S301/CCP qualification is required.
• Strong educational, technical, and management background.
• Proven track record in operations management within the asbestos industry.
• IT proficient.
• Experience with p401, p402, p403, p404, or s301 CCP also acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in running the business, including site staff and client interactions.
• Oversee staff and ensure contract operations are coordinated with clients and carried out effectively in accordance with site operations and company procedures.
• Ensure that all asbestos consultancy work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.
• Produce method statements, risk assessments, and associated site paperwork.
• Assist with tenders and quotations.
• Participate in audits, improve quality and achieve satisfaction from clients/customers and staff.
• Ensure projects are completed within time frame.
• Manage existing and new portfolio of contracts effectively.
• Generate new business leads.

They will have strong people, client, and project management skills, excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills, and the ability to multi task and work under pressure.
