Asbestos Lab Analyst - P401- East London

Due to continued expansion and business requirements, this UKAS accredited and client based asbestos consultancy with a large presence in the Southern region is looking for a smart, tenacious and committed Asbestos Lab Analyst based in the London area. Consideration will be given to applications from West London and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory, preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.
- Completing record forms and typing certificates of analysis as and when required and ensuring that workload is completed within the agreed time frame.
- Complying with UKAS documentation and the Asbestos Quality Control Procedures.
- Getting involved with other laboratory duties and ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Must have attained the P401 asbestos qualification.
- Must have a proven track record working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst within a UKAS accredited laboratory environment.
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
